Ancestral Cards are a special type of upgrade designed for players who have progressed far into the game and maxed out many of their regular cards. They provide permanent boosts that help you stay competitive in high-level mines.

When do Ancestral cards become available?
Ancestral Cards become available after Mine 100
You will start earning them once you receive duplicate cards that have already reached their maximum level
How do Ancestral cards work?
When you receive a card that is already maxed out, it is automatically converted into Ancestral Knowledge
This knowledge is collected and used to unlock passive bonuses
The rarer the original card, the more Ancestral Knowledge you receive from its conversion
What benefits do Ancestral cards provide?
Ancestral bonuses apply automatically and permanently. They include:
Increased goblin damage in the main game
Improved dynamite damage
These effects are always active and apply globally in regular mines
Please note: they do not apply in event mines
Where can you get Ancestral cards?
From converting extra maxed-out cards
Occasionally, they may also appear as a bonus reward in chests after Mine 100
Why are Ancestral cards important?
As you reach later stages of the game, most of your standard cards will be fully upgraded. Ancestral Cards give continued value to chest rewards by:
Turning duplicate cards into useful bonuses
Offering meaningful combat upgrades that scale into endgame mines
Keeping your progress going even after most techs are unlocked
📌 Ancestral Cards are a long-term progression feature for experienced players. Once unlocked, they offer ongoing improvements with no extra effort required.
