We understand how frustrating it is when a broken advertisement interrupts your mining or fails to deliver your hard-earned rewards. While ads are delivered by external networks, we have zero tolerance for broken or malicious ad content.
Here are the quickest ways to resolve this issue on your device or report the problematic ad so we can remove it.
Step 1: Refresh Your Ad Pool
This forces the ad networks to clear your current profile and gives you a completely fresh batch of ads.
🔄 How to Reset Your Advertising ID:
Android:
Open your device Settings.
Tap Google (or All Services).
Select Ads and tap Reset advertising ID.
iOS:
Open your device Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security and select Tracking.
Turn the switch for Gold & Goblins off and then back on.
🧹 How to Clear Cache (Android only)
Open your device Settings.
Go to Apps and select Gold & Goblins.
Tap Storage (or Memory) and select Clear Cache.
⚠️ Important: Do not tap clear data, or you risk losing your local game progress! Tip: We highly recommend repeating these exact steps for the Google Play Store app too.
Step 2: Report the Ad Instantly
Most in-game advertisements have a built-in reporting tool provided by the network.
How to Report and Ban the Ad:
In the ad: Look for a small i, info circle, or flag icon in the corners of the screen. Tap it to report the ad to the network instantly.
Via Support: If the ad crashes the game, contact us via the Support button in the in-game Settings (gear icon). Please provide a screenshot of the ad showing the game/app name or the advertiser's logo, along with a brief description of what happened (e.g., a black screen, a timer freezing).
This helps us trace the specific provider and remove the ad from the game completely!
