Feature Overview

Logistics management is a major component of maintaining a healthy sawmill pipeline. Occasionally, due to overlapping pathfinding coordinates, your log trucks might get stuck in a visual loop, form a traffic jam, or freeze somewhere along the shipping road. When this happens, your log transport halts, starving your factory lines of raw timber. Fortunately, you can easily clear this structural traffic jam and reset your fleet using a quick manual app refresh.

How to Access

This issue impacts the shipping route running between your active forest harvesting plots and the storage yard. You can diagnose a traffic jam by visually checking the roads on the left side of your main sawmill map screen.

Core Mechanics & Troubleshooting

Roadway pathfinding errors can happen due to a variety of internal script overlapping. If your transport fleet gridlocks, look for the following common scenarios and apply these fixes:

  • The Circular Traffic Jam Loop: Sometimes, multiple trucks collide or get caught in an infinite circular loop at an intersection. If you see your fleet gridlocked, close your application with a Force Stop and open it again. For severe jams, you may need to repeat this step more than once to clear the pathing cache completely.

  • Missing or Off-Screen Trucks: If your stats show you own three or four trucks but you only see one or two physically driving on the asphalt, the missing vehicles are likely stuck somewhere outside the visible boundaries of your screen.

  • The Full Reset Solution: Performing a complete game restart forces the factory to completely reload all active log trucks. A clean boot instantly resets their placement vectors, spawns them back at their proper starting points, and gets your wood delivery flowing immediately.

Tips and Strategies

  • Keep the Application Fresh: If you leave your sawmill running on your screen for hours at a time to passively collect cash, the local system cache can clog, making vehicles more prone to pathing errors. Make it a habit to close and restart the app fully once or twice a day to maintain optimal logistics performance.

  • Upgrade Truck Speed Strategically: Having extremely fast trucks combined with slow unloading forklifts can cause a backing-up effect at your storage dock. Always ensure your warehouse forklifts are leveled up enough to match the fast drop-off pacing of your transport fleet.
