To protect yourself from accidental purchases, you need to change your device settings:
For iOS devices:
- Go to Settings — Screen Time — Enable Screen Time. If this feature is already enabled, proceed to step 3.

- Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases — In-app Purchases — Don’t Allow.
If you don’t want to completely disable purchases, you can set up a password request before making any in-app purchases. To adjust these settings:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name — Media & Purchases.
- Tap the blue account icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap Password Settings, then select the desired option.
For Google Play devices:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap the Menu icon — Settings.
- Tap Authentication for Purchases.
- Choose one of the authentication methods.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
