There are several reasons your game might crash or freeze, but our team is working hard to improve performance with updates. Try these steps, even if you’ve done some before, as they can help make the game and your device run better:

  1. Close all apps running in the background.

  2. Restart your device. This often fixes the issue.

  3. Make sure your game is updated to the latest version:

    • Open the Google Play Store.
    • Go to Menu > My Apps & Games.
    • Find Lumber Inc and tap "Update." If it says "Open," your game is already up-to-date.
  4. Check if you have enough free space:

    • Go to your device’s Settings > Storage.
    • You should have at least 20% free space for the game to run smoothly. If your storage is almost full, this can cause problems.
  5. Force quit the game:

    • Go to Settings > Apps.
    • Select Lumber Inc and tap "Force stop."
  6. Clear the game cache (Important: Don’t clear the data, or you’ll lose progress):

    • Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Lumber Inc > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache.
  7. Make sure your internet connection is stable, especially if you're not  using Wi-Fi.

  8. Check App Permissions

Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Lumber Inc.  > Permissions and check if any important permissions are turned off.

  9.  Check if there is conflict with Other Apps: Some apps, especially those running in the background (like antivirus, VPN, or optimization tools), may conflict with the game, causing it to freeze or crash. Please turn them off an try to open the game again.

  10. Turn off Battery safe mode.
  11. Check Device  for Overheating: Turn off the game and wait for 5 minutes for device to get cooler and try to open the game again.

If the problem keeps happening, send us a screenshot and details of what’s going wrong:

  • What actions cause the crash or freeze?
  • When did you first notice the problem (after an update, etc.)?
