Issue Description

When contacting our customer support team to report display anomalies, missing item deliveries, or progression hurdles on your sawmill floor, providing visual evidence is vital. Sending a clear screenshot allows our support agents to analyze your exact interface layout, view diagnostic details, and inspect error states instantly, which significantly cuts down resolution times.

Troubleshooting Steps

Depending on the model generation of your iPhone or iPad, you can capture your active screen layout using specific physical button combinations:

For iOS Devices with a Physical Home Button

If your Apple device features a circular physical Home button below the screen (such as iPhone 8, iPhone SE, or older iPad models), use this combination:

  1. Open the specific in-game interface or menu layout you want to capture.

  2. Press and hold the physical Sleep/Wake (Power) button located on the top or side edge of your device.

  3. Immediately press and release the physical Home button, then let go of the Power button.

  4. The display will flash white briefly to confirm a successful capture.

For Newer iOS Devices with Face ID (No Home Button)

If your device features an edge-to-edge screen without a physical Home button, use the modern combination:

  1. Open the target screen or menu inside Lumber Inc.

  2. Press the physical Side (Power) button on the right and the physical Volume Up button on the left simultaneously.

  3. Quickly release both buttons. The display will flash to confirm the snapshot.

How to Find Your Saved Captures

Once your device captures the display, the operating system routes the file directly to your system image bank. To review your images:

  • Open your device's native Photos application.

  • Select the Albums tab at the bottom of your screen.

  • Tap on the Camera Roll (or Recents) folder to find your saved screenshots.

How to Attach to Your Support Ticket

Once your screenshot is verified in your gallery, launch Lumber Inc, open the in-game settings menu, and tap Help to open a live chat window with our agents. Tap the Camera/Plus (+) icon inside the chat interface to select the captured image from your library and upload it directly to your message thread.
