Feature Overview

As your factory scales into an industrial empire, managing your downstream logistics becomes just as important as running the machines themselves. The Parallel Order System is a major logistics upgrade that modernizes how your sawmill stores, tracks, and sells its lumber products. By separating individual manufacturing lines into independent distribution channels, the game ensures that your advanced materials are never blocked by lower-tier resources.

How to Access

This system activates automatically across your entire production floor. You can visually observe its impact by looking at the restructured Warehouse Storage Layout in the center of your sawmill and by opening your main Order Board.

Core Mechanics

The Parallel Order System completely replaces the old unified inventory model with a streamlined, segregated pipeline structure:

    • Dedicated Warehouse Sections: Previously, all processed wood products (cants, rough lumber, etc.) were lumped together into a single warehouse storage pool. Now, each individual production line has its own dedicated warehouse section.

    • Independent Speed Dynamics: Because products are separated, each line operates at its own independent speed, preventing slower high-tier machines from bottlenecking the fast throughput of your earlier stations.

    • Product Differentiation: Each specialized section is designed to isolate and hold different categories of products, matching the exact output of the line it serves.

    • Progressive Value Chain: As you move down the factory floor from left to right, each subsequent production line generates higher-tier, more sophisticated resources. Thanks to parallel storage, these high-value goods are sorted instantly, maximizing your pricing accuracy and fulfillment speed on the Order Board.

Tips and Strategies

  • Target Individual Bottlenecks: Because storage is now divided, you can easily spot exactly which part of your production chain is lagging behind. If one specific warehouse section is empty while others are full, focus your cash entirely on upgrading that specific line's machines and managers.

  • Optimize Your Order Selection: With parallel sections, you can accept multiple targeted orders simultaneously. If your lower-tier cant storage section is completely full, focus on clearing out basic cant orders without worrying about accidentally draining your high-value sanded lumber reserves.
