Issue Description
Over extended gameplay periods, your device continuously saves temporary data chunks, asset layouts, and ad-network receipts into its local storage. If this local storage library becomes corrupted due to unexpected app closures or network drops, it can trigger localized stability problems. Typical symptoms include severe frame-rate drops, assets failing to render correctly, endless loading loops, or button inputs refusing to register.
Troubleshooting Steps
To resolve these runtime anomalies without wiping your structural save file, you can force-clear your temporary data cache. Follow this official system protocol to safely flush your application's memory pool:
1. Access Your System Settings
Completely close the game and return to your mobile device's home screen.
Open your global device Settings menu (represented by the ⚙️ gear icon).
2. Locate Your Installed Applications
Scroll down the settings ledger and select Apps (or Apps & Notifications depending on your Android OS version) to view the complete list of your installed software.
Browse the alphabetical index, locate Lumber Inc, and tap on it to open its system management dashboard.
3. Clear the Memory Cache
Inside the app info screen, select the Storage (or Storage & Cache) submenu.
Locate and tap the Clear Cache button.
Confirm the prompt by selecting OK 🗑️ to safely wipe the junk files away.
⚠️ Crucial Storage Warning: When navigating the storage menu, ensure you tap Clear Cache and NOT "Clear Data" (or "Clear Storage"). Tapping Clear Data will wipe your local profile keys and log you out completely, requiring an internet cloud sync to pull your factory back. Clear Cache is perfectly safe and only removes temporary clutter.
Post-Maintenance Verification
Once the memory wipe is complete, launch a fresh copy of Lumber Inc. The game engine will automatically re-download clean, uncorrupted versions of any required temporary files.
If your stability issues persist after performing this clean wipe, please reach out directly to our technical support team through the in-game Help interface.
