The Goblin Cannon is a vital asset located right next to your Forge. It serves as an essential source for expanding your workforce, securing upgrade resources, and acquiring powerful dynamite to clear paths instantly.

Free Goblin Deliveries

At its base level, the cannon automatically launches one free goblin barrel onto your field every 40 minutes.

  • Level Scaling: The starting level of these delivered goblins is displayed directly on the cannon. This level naturally increases after you purchase a specific number of workers using gold.

  • Reducing the Timer: You can permanently speed up deliveries. The cooldown timer drops every time you activate a checkpoint on the map. Additionally, finding and upgrading the rare cards Pocket Watch and Alarm Clock will significantly reduce this waiting time.

Mystery Barrels

Apart from scheduled goblin drops, the cannon fires Mystery Barrels onto the field. These start spawning every 25 seconds, though the cooldown between shots increases slightly the more barrels you open in a single session.

⚠️ The No-Stacking Rule: Unlike standard goblin deliveries, Mystery Barrels do not stack on the field. A new Mystery Barrel will never spawn if there is already an unclaimed one sitting on your map. Tap and open them immediately to keep the queue moving!

Mystery Barrels contain a random assortment of highly useful items:

  • Gold, Elixir

  • Goblins

  • Dynamite

How Barrel Rewards Scale

The value of the loot hidden inside Mystery Barrels is tied directly to your current campaign progress:

  • Gold Amount: Calculated based on your overall regular income (the combined production of your Forge and all automated mineshafts). You can further boost this payout by leveling up specific delivery cards.

  • Goblin Levels: The level of workers found inside these barrels is always equal to your current Goblin Cannon level minus 1 (though this can be enhanced using specialized cards).

  • Dynamite Power: The level of the dynamite dropped always matches the exact level of the highest-ranking goblin worker currently active in your mine.

Overheating and Drop Cycles

To keep game balance fair, the cannon operates on a cyclical reward structure and features a built-in safety mechanic:

  • Overheating: Opening too many high-value prize barrels in a rapid row can cause the cannon to temporarily overheat. When this happens, it will exclusively drop gold. Simply let the cannon cool down for a couple of hours, and it will return to normal, dropping goblins, gems, and elixirs once again.

  • Reward Cycles: Content distribution has a slight random factor per cycle. If you get lucky and pull top-tier rewards right at the start of a cycle, the next few deliveries will naturally yield lower rewards until the internal timer resets and starts scaling up again.
