While exploring the vast network of caves, you will uncover various currencies, materials, and magical artefacts. Knowing how to manage and where to find these resources is key to keeping your mining operation running at peak efficiency.
Main Currencies & Materials
Gold: Your primary currency. You will spend vast amounts of coins to recruit new goblins and upgrade your buildings.
Where to find: Earned by ordering goblins to destroy rocks (higher-level rocks drop significantly more coins). The Forge and active Shafts provide a stable, passive income line. You can also pull massive gold jackpots from Mystery Barrels.
Elixirs: A magical substance vital for conducting advanced research. You must spend elixirs alongside cards to automate your shafts or increase your jewel production.
Where to find: Elixirs are scattered almost everywhere—inside regular rocks, stashed in chests behind checkpoints, and awarded as a bonus for upgrading your shafts. If you are in a rush to complete a critical upgrade, elixir packs are also available in the store.
Gems: An extremely rare premium currency used to purchase top-tier items and boosters directly from the store.
Where to find: Uncovered from specific gem-bearing rocks on the map, found inside high-level chests, or won by taking a spin on the Spinning Wheel. They are also awarded as milestone rewards during special events.
Tactical Items & Boosters
Cards: Unique blueprints used in your research menu. Collecting enough matching cards allows you to automate your shafts, boost your forge output, or upgrade your goblin cannon's passive levels.
Where to find: Pulled exclusively from chests or earned as rewards by participating in special events.
Chests: Valuable supply crates packed with precious loot. They primarily contain a mix of cards and elixirs, with high-level chests occasionally dropping premium gems.
Where to find: Found hidden inside ruined shafts, buried deep within thick rocks, or secured by breaking down checkpoint walls. They can also be purchased in the store or earned during events.
Event Chests: Supply crates earned during weekend events can also contain special leaderboard Crowns.
Shovels: A specialized tool required to participate in and dig up rewards in the limited-time Treasure Hunt mode.
Where to find: Gathered from multiple sources, including the main mine, limited-time quests (which guarantee at least one shovel per quest), seasonal events, and standard weekly challenges.
⚠️ Warning: Time Potions Time Potions are powerful magical items that allow you to instantly skip forward in time, reducing active countdowns and granting you a lump sum of gold that your forge and shafts would have generated during that timeframe.
You can purchase them in the store or win them on the Spinning Wheel. Note that small Time Potions activate the exact moment you obtain them! Always ensure your workforce is assigned to long-term tasks before using or spinning for a potion to avoid wasting the time skip.
