How and where can I find Artifacts?
You can get Artifacts as a reward in the Battlegrounds Boxes (including exclusive ones), from a Battlegrounds Shop, Artifact Chest, special Events, and from a special offer.
How to equip an Artifact to a hero?
To equip an Artifact, go to the Heroes tab, choose a hero you want to give an Artifact to, and then - go to the bottom right of the screen, and you will see the Artifact slot button under the Rune Amulet button. Choose the Artifact, and tap ‘Equip’.
Can I sell an Artifact?
An Artifact cannot be sold. However, a spare Artifact can be used to upgrade another.
If there is an Artifact you don’t want to be used on accident, simply add it to favorites for safekeeping.
Are the Artifacts swappable? Can I move them from hero to hero?
Yes, they are and yes you can. Just unequip an artifact from a hero, and feel free to keep it in the storage, or to give it to another hero right away, the same way you do with the Runes.
How do Artifacts’ passive abilities work?
Artifacts provide their bearer with passive abilities during the battle. Some of these abilities work instantly, and some are triggered when a hero deals critical damage, loses his taunt, kills an enemy, etc. You can check how these abilities work in the Artifact’s description before equipping it.
What kinds of Artifacts are there?
There are Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic Artifacts. There will also be Legendary Artifacts in the future.
How many Artifacts are there?
There are about 100 artifacts, and there will be more in the future!
What heroes can get extra benefits from the Artifacts?
All Artifacts’ passive abilities work even better when worn by certain heroes.
Tromgar, Darian, Solius, General Murdock, Major Shott, Kin Li, Nightiel, Thalanne, Revol, Hera, Zerra, Lake, Korkhrim, Maar, Freezard, Cruelle, Snorri, Little Batty, ATOM, Instructor Gorram, Ember, Fao, Rin the Unseen, Shao Lin, Kelrian, Alyria, Wonder Lula and Kaira are among them. And there are more to come!
How can I improve an Artifact?
Artifacts are powerful and great as they are when you unlock them, but there is always room for improvement. You will come across a variety of Artifacts - don’t worry if you get a duplicate - they all serve their purpose. If you have a spare or a duplicate - you can make use of it, and here’s how.
There are three ways to improve an Artifact: you can raise its level, increase its max level, and raise its star count.
An Artifact has a 30 level cap, and a maximum star count of 5.
To raise the level on an Artifact, simpy sacrifice any Artifact that you don’t need or feed some Upgrade Stones to it.
All new 0 level Artifacts are capped at level 15. You can increase the maximum level to 30. To do this, sacrifice any Artifact of the same quality (Common for Common, Uncommon for Uncommon, etc.) to it, and you’ll be all set.
How can I raise the Artifact’s stars?
To raise Artifact’s stars, you need to sacrifice the same Artifacts. They need to be identical, including their star level. Or you can use Star Up Stones (available from Artifacts Upgrade Chest) to raise an Artifact's star level.
There are several Star up stones : Common, Uncommon, Rara and Epic. You can find them in different game activities, such as Guild Raid "Depths of Black Machinery", as a reward for Achievements and opening Artifact Upgrade Chest.
What’s so special about the Artifacts Chest?
As much as an Artifact is not just a trinket, the Artifacts Chest is also special because it can be upgraded!
To upgrade the Artifacts Chest level, you simply need to open it. The more chests you open, the higher the chest level. The higher the chest level, the better are the odds and the cooler the rewards!
When you open this chest for the first time, you have a 2% chance of getting
an Epic Artifact.
As you open it more, you will eventually get to an 8% chance of getting an Epic Artifact once and for all.

These magical chests can be opened with Artifact Keys that you can get from the Battlegrounds, Star Shop, purchase with Dracoins, or get in a variety of in-game activities.
