Scrolls are a special in-game item that is required to increase the level of the hero's abilities. Each ability level requires a certain number of scrolls. If you don't have enough scrolls, you can always find them in various game activities or use Dracoins instead.
In the Upgrade Ability tab, you can read the description of the abilities, and get acquainted with how many scrolls you have available and how many scrolls are required to upgrade the level of a particular ability.
