Chests are one of the ways to get various items and herostones in the game. All chests are presented in the Shop tab. You will need 100 chest keys to open any chest for free. Please note that each chest requires its own key.

Common Chest
You can receive Herostones, equipment and Gold by opening the Common Chest. The Common Chest can be opened for free without keys every 3 hours.

However, if you don't want to wait, then this chest can also be opened with a common key. You will need 100 keys to open this chest.
Please note that free chests can also be opened in Chests tab. After opening all free chests you will see a button Chests that will redirect you to relevant tab in the Shop.
Gold Chest
Opening the Gold Chest can get you up to 3,000,000 Gold, and even more! Every subsequent opening of the Chest during the same in-game day increases the rewards in it by 5% and up to 50%.
For instance, opening the second Gold Chest one grants you extra 5% of the sum you get, opening the 3rd one - 10%, and etc.
The Gold Chest can only be opened with a Golden Key. You will need 100 keys to open the chest.
Artifacts Chest
Opening the Artifacts Chest can get you Epic Artifacts to make your heroes stronger. The Artifacts Chest can only be opened with an Artifact Key. You will need 100 keys to open the chest.
Artifact Upgrade Chest

The Artifact Upgrade Chest can only be opened with Artifact Upgrade Chest Keys.

Runes Chest

Abilities Chest
If you're looking for extra Ability Scrolls to upgrade your heroes abilities, just open an Abilities Chest.

Gear Chest XI
Legendary equipment for your heroes (after reaching gear level 11) awaits in the Gear Chest XI!

Chest of Halfpigs
Opening the Chest of Halfpigs, you can get Halfpigs HeroStones for the legendary event.
