Farming is another way to increase your global profit rate for the Trade game mode, along with Trade Gear and Books. It becomes available at Trade Level 3-1 (City-1).
The Farm
Herbs are grown in a special area called The Farm. The main farming area contains 9 field tiles. Each tile can grow 4 crops at once. At the start, only 3 tiles are available, but additional tiles unlock as you upgrade your collect more herbs.
The Farm uses a time-based growing system with limited daily hours.
At the bottom of the screen, you can see an indicator showing the current time of day on the farm. This helps you track how long the farm will remain open.
Farm schedule (local time):
- Opens: 9:00 AM
- Closes: 1:00 AM
When the farm is closed at night:
- Crops cannot grow
- Seeds cannot be planted
- Herbs cannot be harvested
The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse determines your chances of getting rarer herbs. It has 15 levels total and upgrades automatically when you harvest enough herbs. Each new level unlocks rarer and more profitable herbs.
You can check your current Farmhouse level and upgrade requirements by tapping the “i” button. Higher Farmhouse levels also increase the chance of growing higher-rarity herbs.
Planting and growing
Growing herbs happens in several steps:
- Obtain seeds from various game activities.
- Plant seeds in field tiles.
- Each planted seed grows for 1 hour.
- Every tile produces 10 herbs per hour.
Herbs can be harvested at any time, even before the full hour passes. However, remember to replant seeds every hour to keep production going.
The Cart stores harvested herbs before they are revealed. It cannot be opened until it contains at least 10 herbs. To open it, tap Claim. Once opened, you will see which herbs you harvested. Each herb harvested will also add to the level progress of your Farmhouse, and a higher-level farmhouse will increase your odds of growing a higher rarity herb.
After opening the cart, herbs are added to your inventory (Farming Collection). You can then upgrade and equip herbs automatically or manually.
Farming collection
When you tap the Herb button
in the lower-right corner of the screen, you open your Farming collection. You will see five herb slots at the top, where your equipped herbs are displayed, and your entire herb collection at the bottom. You can also create several Herb Loadouts for different purposes and select the one you need at the moment.
Each herb provides two types of bonuses:
- Owned Effect – a passive bonus that applies as long as you own the herb
- Equipped Effect – an additional bonus that activates when the herb is placed in one of the five slots
Herbs act just like books or tactical gear, having both level and rarity, with rarity being from Common to Ethereal, and level from 1 to 200. Herbs level up further by repeatedly acquiring the same herb. Similar mechanics apply with books or tactical gear.
At the bottom, you can see 3 buttons:
- Quick Equip – automatically equips the best herbs
- Enhance All – upgrades all eligible herbs
- Get More – sends you back to the Farm to plant more herbs
