Books are one of the three main ways to increase your global profit rate for the Trade Game Mode, alongside Trade Gear and Farming. Books unlock at Trade Level 2-3 (Forest-3).
When you open the Books page from the Profit Gear menu, you will see your Bookshelf with five book slots at the top, where your equipped books are displayed, and your entire book collection at the bottom. You can also create several Book Loadouts for different purposes and select the one you need at the moment.
Each book provides two types of bonuses:
- Owned Effect – a passive bonus that applies as long as you own the book
- Equipped Effect – an additional bonus that activates when the book is placed in one of the five slots
Books act just like herbs or tactical gear, having both level and rarity, with rarity ranging from Common to Ethereal and level from 1 to 200. Books level up further by repeatedly acquiring the same book. Similar mechanics apply to herbs and tactical gear.
At the bottom of the screen, you will find three helpful buttons:
- Quick Equip – automatically equips the best available books
- Enhance All – upgrades all books that can currently be upgraded
- Get More – opens the Sanctuary, where you can draw more books using Library Tickets
How to get more books?
To draw more books in the Sanctuary, you need Library Tickets. Library Tickets can be obtained in Library Run, located in the Missions menu.
You can use Library Tickets to draw books in several ways:
- 15 books for 15 Library Tickets
- 35 books for 30 Library Tickets
- Ad option – available 3 times per day, granting several books per ad
The Sanctuary determines your chances of obtaining rarer books. It has 14 levels and upgrades automatically as you draw more books. Each new level increases your chances of finding higher-rarity and more profitable books. Drawing books regularly helps you upgrade existing books and discover new ones, which increases your overall trading profit!
