If you’ve lost your progress in Idle Outpost, don’t worry — your data may still be safe. Follow the steps below to try to recover your account.

Step 1: Log Into Your Linked Social Media Account

Try logging into the same Google, Game Center (iOS), or Facebook account that you originally used in the game.

  • Go to the game’s Settings > Account

  • Tap Link Account

  • Choose the platform you previously used

What happens next?

After logging in, one of two things will happen:

  • The game links your account, but nothing changes.

This means the account you logged into was not used previously to save any game progress.

  • The game offers to load an old progress.

This is what you want. The game will show a warning saying your current progress will be lost.

    It’s safe to proceed!

    • Your original progress will be restored.

    • The current (low-level) progress will be erased — but that’s okay.

    • Your old data is saved securely and linked to your social media account.

Confirm the prompt to load your original game data.

Step 2: Collect Information About Your Account

If logging into your social accounts didn’t work, gather as much information as you can about your old account. This will help the support team locate it.

Here’s what you should try to remember:

  • Your old UID (if you wrote it down or took a screenshot)
  • Your nickname (case-sensitive)
  • Your last known location in the game (e.g. “Forest”, “Sunken Supermarket”, or “3-4”)
  • What character you were using
  • The last time you logged into the account
  • Whether you made any purchases (attach receipts if possible)
  • Any screenshots you have of your account

You can also add other details like gear you were using or other unique info that might help separate your account from others.

Step 3: Contact Support

If your account still isn’t restored, you’ll need to contact our support team.

  1. Open the game and go to Settings > Support
  2. Tap Contact Us
  3. Choose the topic related to lost progress
  4. Include all the information you gathered in Step 2

The more details you provide, the faster and more accurately your account can be restored.
