What is it?

Limited-Time Events (LTE) are special, standalone game modes in Idle Outpost that challenge you to build up and run themed trading stations. These competitive modes become available automatically once you successfully complete Level 1-4 in the main game. Participating gives you an incredible opportunity to significantly improve your account strength by earning valuable, exclusive progression rewards.

How to play?

Your primary goal during an LTE is to accumulate as many Event Points as possible to climb the competitive leaderboards. You can preview upcoming rotations and plan your strategies ahead of time by keeping an eye on the in-game Event Calendar.

Gameplay Cycles

To maximize your resource generation during every event, you will repeatedly perform these core survival actions:

  • Upgrade individual outpost stations to heavily scale up their financial or resource output.
  • Collect and level up both station-specific and universal Managers to increase production speed.
  • Automate your stations to keep your cash flowing passively without requiring constant physical tapping.
  • Complete active tasks shown at the top of your screen to get quick item injections.

Progress

Progress is achieved by earning points and completing the rotational objectives listed at the top of your interface. Fulfilling these tasks drops extra rewards such as specialized event currency, station cards, and manager cards to accelerate your outpost's automation level.

Rewards

Dominating these challenges provides vital items that transfer directly to your main game profile to enhance your survivor's power:

  • Rank Rewards: High-tier payouts distributed at the very end of the event, determined strictly by your final placement on the server leaderboard.
  • Milestone Rewards: Instant tier prizes that you unlock incrementally as you gather points.
  • Possible Items: Unlocks include unique character skins, exotic gear, class dice, Shovels, and Trade Gear chests.

Rules and unique mechanics

Themed Variations: Every event brings a fully distinct environment, unique look, and localized lore. Active themes include:

  • Bovine Dreams: Step inside a surreal dairy world where cows rule supreme and resource efficiency keeps the pasture moving.
  • Alaskan Bonfire: Brave the brutal conditions of the frozen north, relying on firelight and strict determination to keep stations working against icy odds.
  • Bank Heist: Lay out a careful operation to rake in loot, where absolute maximum efficiency is your key to pulling off the perfect job.
  • Honeybrew Festival: Enjoy a cheerful, buzzing harvest celebration where you brew sweet rewards.
  • Octocalypse: Battle tentacled deep-sea chaos by pushing your outpost stations to their structural limits to survive the madness.
  • Ironclad Express: Pilot a thunderous locomotive through a nuclear winter frost as a lone beacon of hope for survivors.

Event Currency: Each event utilizes only one specific, standalone resource type (such as Mugs, Dogtags, etc.) that vanishes once that specific runtime ends.

Manual Claims Mandatory: Milestone and stage rewards must be claimed manually from the event interface while it is active; they do not automatically send to your mailbox.

Leaderboard Finalization: Rank rewards are calculated and processed only after the countdown timer officially reaches zero.

📢Essential Step for Offline Rewards: Offline rewards for an active LTE are only granted if you enter the event map first thing upon launching the game. If you check your main Trade outpost or play a Fight mode stage first, your accumulated event offline rewards for that session will be completely lost. Always make the LTE map your very first stop when opening the app!

Frequency and Duration

Limited-Time Events cycle continuously on a fixed schedule. A new event launches every 3 days, and each distinct theme stays open for exactly 3 days. There is always a brief operational break between events before the next theme starts.
