What is it?
Limited-Time Events are special game modes in Idle Outpost that become available after you complete Level 1-4 in the main game. These events give you the chance to earn unique rewards by improving and automating your outpost stations and managers within a limited time.
Each event lasts for 3 days and is followed by a short break before the next one begins. You can check the upcoming event themes in the Event Calendar, as each event brings a different theme and reward set.
How to play?
During the event, your goal is to earn as many Event Points as possible. You can do this by:
- Upgrading stations to boost output
- Leveling up managers, either for specific stations or universal ones that improve all stations
- Automating production for maximum efficiency
As you progress, you’ll also collect a unique event resource (e.g., Mugs), which can be earned by completing tasks and milestones.
Don’t forget to check the tasks at the top of the screen — completing them earns you extra rewards like event currency, station cards, and manager cards.
Types of Limited-Time Events
There are several themed events in Idle Outpost. Each comes with its own look, lore, and rewards:
- Bovine Dreams – Step into a surreal dairy-fueled world where cows reign supreme. Gather resources and keep production flowing in this dreamlike pasture.
- Alaskan Bonfire – Brave the frozen north and keep your stations running against icy odds. Firelight and determination will see your outpost thrive.
- Bank Heist – Plan your operation carefully and rake in the loot. Efficiency is the key to pulling off the perfect job.
- Honeybrew Festival – A cheerful event buzzing with activity. Brew sweet rewards and celebrate the harvest with festive production.
- Octocalypse – Face the tentacled chaos of the deep. Only by pushing your stations to their limit can you withstand the madness.
Rewards
At the end of the event, all players receive rewards based on their score. These come in two parts:
- Rank Rewards – Based on your position on the leaderboard
- Milestone Rewards – Based on the number of points you've earned
Possible rewards include:
- Unique skins
- Exotic gear
- Threads, shovels, and Peaceful Gear chests
All rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox after the event ends.
