In Idle Outpost, preparing your survivor for battle means understanding your unique combat attributes. Your character has a dedicated set of stats that directly manipulate your performance, damage output, and survivability during combat encounters.
Combat Stats Breakdown
Every attribute alters a specific rule of engagement during combat turns.
Offensive Attributes
- Crit: Determines the exact chance to land a critical strike, which deals double damage to your opponent.
- Combo: Grants your survivor a chance to trigger multiple successive attacks during a single combat turn.
- Poison: Provides a percentage chance to poison your enemy for 3 turns, applying heavy damage over time.
- Stun: Controls your chance to immobilize your opponent. A stunned enemy completely skips their next turn.
Defensive & Recovery Attributes
- Dodge: Determines the likelihood of entirely avoiding incoming damage from an enemy's basic attack. Note: Dodge only mitigates direct damage. It will not protect your character against active status debuffs like Stun or Poison.
- Regen: Automatically regenerates a fixed percentage of your total health pool at the very beginning of your turn.
- Steal: Functions as life-steal, allowing you to restore your own health equal to a set percentage of the damage you deal. Higher values return significantly more health.
How Anti-Stats Work
For every active combat stat, a balancing Anti-Stat exists to counter its overall efficiency. An opponent’s anti-stat directly subtracts from your base skill trigger rate.
Combat Example: If your character possesses a 50% Stun rate, but your target has 30% Anti-Stun, your final calculated chance to successfully freeze them on that turn drops down to 20%.
Tips
If you ever forget what a stat does, you can always check it directly in the game.
